Make your voice heard in the March 19 Primary Election! View IFT-endorsed candidates and get voter information today

(via Michelle Paul, IFT)

With the March 19 Primary Election just around the corner, it's not too early to get informed and be ready to VOTE! The IFT can help.

Every election cycle, our union endorses candidates through a democratic, transparent Political Action Committee (PAC) process. Member participation and input in the PAC process is key to making the critical decisions about which candidates share our values and deserve our support.

During January, members around the state participated in regional PAC meetings to review candidate questionnaires and interview individuals running for elected office in the upcoming Primary Election. Their recommendations were finalized by the IFT’s elected Executive Board on January 27. View the complete list of IFT 2024 Primary Election endorsements. (As a member, you can access the Federal candidate endorsements using the password "ift".)

This Primary Election is an important one; it’s a critical step toward electing lawmakers who are dedicated to creating the future we all deserve. IFT-endorsed candidates have expressed their support for social justice, vital public services, and a commitment to public education at every level. We urge you to consider these candidates when casting your vote!

Early voting (in person or by mail) begins on February 8. Or you may vote at the ballot box on Primary Election Day, March 19. Find detailed voter information here.

From now through the General Election in November, watch your inbox, ift-aft.org, and the IFT's Union Link newsletter to learn more about the candidates, issues, and how you can volunteer in this important election. Thank you for making your voice heard!
