RC-29 area vice president, Matt Emigholz, a mechanic for the Illinois Department of Transportation and Area Vice President of the Illinois Federation of Public Employees (Local 4408) recounts how he drove 1000 miles to sign up members for his union in preparation for anti-union actions from Governor Rauner. On the course of his journey, Matt educated his fellow union members on the dangers of “right to work” legislation.
