Officers and Area Vice-Presidents from Local 4408 attended the Illinois Federation of Teachers 2022 Convention in St. Louis from Friday, October 21, to Sunday, October 23. The theme of this year's meeting was "Together", with attendees having the opportunity to learn about building connections and alliances not just within the labor movement, but also with outside organizations devoted to workers' rights.
