With the election just over a month away, it is more vital than ever for members to be proactive in getting out the vote. Please keep the following deadlines and related dates in mind, and share this information with anyone who has questions about registering to vote or casting a ballot (either in person or absentee).
Thursday, September 24: early voting starts and is already underway at your local election authority
Tuesday, October 6: last day for regular voter registration; online registration continues
Wednesday October 7: grace-period registration begins at your local election authority and continues through Election Day
Sunday October 18: online registration closes at midnight
Thursday October 29: last day to request an absentee ballot
Monday, November 2: early voting ends
Tuesday, November 3: you may still register and vote at your local authority, and also at most polling places; returned absentee ballots must be postmarked by this date
Remember to vote, and encourage others to vote!!! NO Excuses!!! Victory through Unity!!!
