This session will break down how Illinois’ shortfalls on funding education, higher education, and essential public services is the direct result of a broken revenue system that protects the ultra‑wealthy while forcing working families and public institutions to pay the price. If we want full funding, Illinois must raise the revenue to pay for it — and that means finally taxing the ultra‑wealthy to pay
