AFSCME Local 1110, the Union representing the building service, groundskeeping, and dining service workers at Illinois State University, went on strike April 8th for a fair contract! Not only is ISU refusing to negotiate a fair contract, but they have also started to hire strikebreakers to fill in for the essential work these employees do.
