Secretary of State Bargaining Unit Holding Pumpkin Decorating Contest--Submissions Due Monday, October 27, with Voting on Favorites to Follow!

Note: This contest is limited to Secretary of State.

Welcome to the SOS IFPE 4408 pumpkin decorating contest. This contest is open to all Union members in the SOS bargaining unit. 

This contest will run from the date of receiving this email and until Monday, October 27, 2025, at 5:00 PM. That is the day in which all entries must be received. Judging will begin on Wednesday the 29th and go till Thursday the 30th, at 10:00 PM.

Rules

1. Pumpkins can be decorated in any way the member sees fit. Painted carved, etc. 

2. Photos are to be taken of the decorated pumpkin with the Union member in the picture. 

Pictures of the Union member and their pumpkin can be submitted here. If you have trouble accessing it, however, please send your entry to sos.ifpe.local4408@gmail.com

How to win.

All Union members will be eligible to vote for the winners. A separate google form will be used for voting. 

There will be a first, second, and third place winner-takes-all. Prizes will be announced at time of judging.

There will also be an individual winner in each department. The departments are broken down as the Archives, the Library, Personnel, Securities, and all other departments.
