Another page on the calendar has turned. We leave behind 2025, and head into 2026.
As with last year, we want to celebrate a year of accomplishments, and discuss the future as we look forward to 2026 and beyond.
We shall be kicking off the year with our Looking Forward Luncheon. Instead of a holiday party, when everyone is already too packed with events and things to do, we wanted our members, and everyone else, to have time to spend with friends and family, the people who make life worth living.
So, this year, we start a new tradition. Our Looking Forward Luncheon is for not just members, but non-members alike. Everyone is invited to see what the union has accomplished, talk about who we are, and meet the people working behind the scenes to make all of this possible.
This year, President Matt Emigholz and the newly-appointed Executive Vice- President, Joseph “Mic” Middleton, will be joining the luncheon. They are eager to meet people and talk about what we do and who we are.
We will also be saying goodbye to our indefatigable Field Service Director, Deneen Taylor, as she retires in April.
