Don’t miss the next Full Funding Friday coming up on Friday, January 9! Last month was a powerful reminder that our unity is our strength. Let’s keep the momentum going as we stand together and with our IEA union siblings to call on our lawmakers and Governor Pritzker to put PEOPLE over profits. We must demand that the ultra-wealthy pay their fair share to ensure our schools and communities can thrive.

We encourage you to participate in walk-ins, solidarity events, or other creative actions that not only show your union pride at your workplace, but also a unified voice demanding real solutions for our families, students, and neighbors. (And if you haven’t sent a letter to your lawmaker yet, do so here!)
Please share photos and stories from your actions. Tag @iftaft on social media or email info@ift-aft.org.

Thank you for your continued commitment to your work and to this movement to put education and communities first. Illinois needs new, sustainable revenue from the ultra-wealthy and corporations to keep our public institutions strong.
The future well-being of our neighbors, communities, and state depends on our ability to fund and support the core pillars that sustain our democracy — quality education from kindergarten through college, strong public programs, and working people who feel valued and heard.
