The Illinois Federation of Teachers asks IFPE Local 4408 members in the Springfield area to consider phone banking for State Senator Doris Turner (D-48). Please come to the Sangamon County Democratic Headquarters (312 East Monroe Street) to help from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 25. Watch for additional phone banking opportunities for Senator Turner and other union-endorsed candidates as the November elections approach.
Even if you cannot attend this week's phone banking, there are still additional opportunities to assist with Senator Turner's campaign, specifically canvassing. This takes place every Saturday, starting at 10:00 AM. Please meet at the Democratic Headquarters.
