Two Weeks Left to Vote Early!

(via the Illinois Federation of Teachers)

The Primary Election is June 28, but you still have time to avoid the crowds and vote early.

Voters in every Illinois county can cast their ballots early from now through June 27. Early voting is typically conducted at your County Clerk's office, but check here to see where and when you can early vote in your area. If you haven't registered yet, don't worry! Grace period registration is available at early voting locations through June 27 too.

If you prefer a contact-free way to vote, you still have time to apply to vote by mail. (Applications must be received by June 23.) While you won’t get that highly sought-after “I voted” sticker, you will receive the same ballot as those who vote at the polls and your vote will be counted.

Of course you can always vote in-person on Primary Election Day, June 28. If you are not registered, you may register and vote at the polling place that day.

No matter how you choose to cast your ballot, be sure to first review the IFT's 2022 Primary Election endorsements to learn which women and men have earned our union's support. (Click here for a printable version.) These individuals were thoroughly vetted through the IFT's democratic, transparent Political Action Committee (PAC) process and have demonstrated a strong commitment to collective bargaining rights, vital public services and public education at every level.

Don't sit this one out! Make your plan to vote today. For more voter resources, visit the IFT website.
